This is a really fun craft! You will be making a beautiful Christmas ornament you can actually leave out year round. To start off you will need supplies to complete this craft. You will need: CDs, a glass or plastic ornament, scissors, a glue gun, a cup and ribbon of your choice. You may also want gloves if you are doing this with children.
This craft should only be done with adult supervision due to the scissors and the hot glue gun. You don’t want any little hands around shards of broken cd.
To start this project you will use the scissors to cut a cd into tiny pieces about the size of a penny. The second step is placing the ornament ontop of the cup to hold it while you glue. You will then hot glue each piece of cd to the ornament in any arrangement you like on the side that is showing.
Next you will rotate the bulb around after the glue cools to finish the other half. Be careful to use only light pressure when pressing the pieces to the ornament so as not to break it. You may leave space in between the pieces or put them close together. The next step is to take the bulbs top off and stuck the ribbon into the hole and replace the cap. And there you have it!
