VIDEO: He Takes Old Stale Rice And Smashes It Into A Pan? The Result? I Knew I Had To Try IT ASAP

Pasta, potatoes, and rice are the standard side dishes for the majority of the world. Just think how many times you have eaten at least one of those this week alone. Many have had all three.

Often times after preparing dinner there are dreaded leftovers. One must then attempt to re-serve last nights meal to your family again who likely does not want to eat it again so soon. This guy has a pretty awesome and simple way to reuse leftover rice in a way that the entire family is sure to love.

First take the leftover rice and squish it into the bottom of a hot frying pan with a spatula or spoon, whichever is handy. Let it cook for a minute or two until the bottom has a light, crispy crust to it then slide onto a plate.

This simple meal can be another side dish, a breakfast accompaniment (think hash browns), or an appetizer with a dipping sauce. This such a fun way to revamp your food, save some money, and please your picky family’s tummies. The concept can be applied to leftover potatoes as well. Crisp them up into latkes and serve with sour cream, yum!
