A wife who had hidden a camera in the bedroom of the home she shared with her husband, was able to get his immediate reaction when she showed that she was pregnant.
As the video begins, the woman is seen sitting on the couple’s bed as the man walks in. Noticing how happy she seemed, he looked down at the pregnancy test she had just taken, and exclaimed, “No way. Uh-uh. Are you serious. Uh-uh. No way. You’re joking. No way,” while also giving a wide smile.
The equally happy wife confirms the news and says, “You put a baby in there.” That leads to the husband exclaiming, “I knew it. My boys can swim.” The latter comment was a reference from an episode of Seinfeld when George Costanza’s girlfriend was assumed to be pregnant.
Still absorbing the information, the husband asks, “Seriously?” as he lifts her up in order to give her a long hug. The embrace lasts for over 10 seconds, at which point the wife jokingly repeats the husband’s comment about how, “My boys can swim.” The couple then kisses and then embraces near the conclusion.
The 44-second video was first posted on December 5, 2014, and has received over 259,000 views in the four months since. Among the 13 comments offered by viewers, most congratulate the couple on their good fortune, while a few offer either criticism for the man’s sensitivity to the situation or simply provide a crude analysis of what was actually said.
