VIDEO: A Little Boy Asked Neil DeGrasse Tyson: What’s The Meaning Of Life? His Response? EPIC!

Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist who has gained worldwide recognition for his expertise in the science field. At one of his recent public speaking gigs in Boston, Tyson was asked point blank by a 6-year-old boy named Jackson what the meaning of life is.

While other public speakers may shrug off such a question, Tyson definitely didn’t. He took that deep question very seriously and gave a thorough answer back. Tyson explained that there is no one answer to the meaning of life. That’s because it is different for every single person. The meaning of life has to be created by the individual themselves. They have to find their own purpose in life.

Each day, we should broaden our horizons and learn something new so that we never feel that our time is wasted. Tyson made it clear to Jackson that his age shouldn’t stop him from exploring nature and the wold as a whole. Jump in every rain puddle and continue asking the tough questions. We are only bettering ourselves the more we challenge each and every thing thrown our way.

Of course when Jackson asked Tyson this question, he wasn’t expecting a serious answer. However, Tyson doesn’t discriminate. He takes every question given to him with the utmost respect. All individuals in that room that day came across with the urge to keep being curious and keep that sense of wonder. It doesn’t matter what age the individual is, we must always experiment and try new things.
