VIDEO: 179 Years Ago They Found THIS Mysterious Secret Entrance. What’s Inside Is So Stunning!

The world is filled with many mysterious sites. Places like the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Stonehenge monuments in England draw thousands of visitors each year who are in awe of the mystery behind their creation.

These are the well-known mysteries of the world, but there is a mystery just as strange as Stonehenge in England.

179 years ago, a man named James Newlove was digging near his home in Margate, England. He uncovered a mysterious hole and decided to investigate further. He used his son Joshua to explore the hole by tying a rope to his waist and slowly lowering him down. Candle in hand, Joshua discovered something truly exquisite.

As he came to the end of the dark tunnel, he discovered a stunning shell grotto. The grotto contained walls intricately decorated by millions and millions of gorgeous shells.

The mystery is there is no historical record of this grotto’s existence. Shell grotto construction was popular amongst the wealthy in the 1700’s, and most of the world’s shell grottoes can be dated to this time period.

The strange thing about the grotto in Margate is the land was never owned by a wealthy family, so that rules out the typical reasoning of construction. This grotto has been a tourist attraction ever since it was open to the public a few years after its discovery. Many people believe it is a site in tune with esoteric energies, as it has been home to a couple of seances over the years.
