President Trump is going on vacation for the second time in one month. Many people think that he is being hypocritical because has criticized Obama for going on vacation too much. According to the “New York Times”, Donald Trump stops working around 6:30 p.m. every day. He then watches television until it is time for him to go to bed.
Trump has also broken a record. He hit the golf court before any other president. Former President Obama was in the office for four months before he started playing golf. Former President George W. Bush was in the office for 5.5 months before he started playing golf.
Trump’s vacation is also costing taxpayers a lot of money. He is planning to spend the weekend at his mansion in Florida. It will cost taxpayers three million dollars. Conservatives were upset every time that Obama went on vacation. However, they are not saying anything about how Trump is preparing to take his second vacation in one month.
Trump actually promised that he would not be going on any vacations while he was president. He stated that there was too much work to be done. However, he has gone back on this promise.
