Believe it or not, you could probably build something pretty cool with the materials inside your home right now. One just has to put on their creativity cap and suddenly everything is a tool, even a window pane.
Who knew that an old window could be transformed into such a useful and aesthetically pleasing furniture for the home? Well, one man used his old window panes and turned them into coffee tables. He even left room between the pane and the platform to create storage space within the table.
You could take the window-table outside, to enjoy on your porch or patio. Just make sure that the base can withstand weather. Need extra display space in your living room, dining room or bedroom? Turn a window pane into shelving by hanging baskets on each pane. Extra crafty people may even be able to turn their window pane into a brand new door for their shower stall.
Before you get rid of all that “junk” in your attic, basement or garage, try to concoct some cool and creative way to repurpose or recycle your things.
