North Carolina Man Steps Out Of His Shower, Moments Later He is Dead. You’ll Never Believe How

Davidson County, North Carolina – Nicholas Cardillo, age 46, has a lot to be grateful this week following a freak accident with his .380 caliber pistol. This past Thursday, Cardillo was tending his 3-year-old grandson and set aside his handgun ejecting the magazine clip from the weapon.

However, he did not remove the round that was chambered in the gun. He then stepped into the shower to wash himself briefly. It was at this time that his inquisitive grandson got his hands on the weapon.

Upon hearing a noise, Cardillo stepped out of the shower to see the child holding the weapon in his hands. He asked to lad to kindly set it aside, but it fired off striking him in the neck. Paramedics were involved, and he was whisked away to nearby Wake Forest Baptist Medical. Physicians determined that his wound was non-life threatening.

The entire incident could easily have turned out to be another tragedy as in the sad case Idaho mother & nuclear scientist Veronica Rutledge. She took her nieces, nephews, and 2-year-old son to the local Walmart to make purchases with their Christmas gift cards.

Her son began to peruse her purse. He found her concealed handgun and fatally shot her in the head. Regardless, pro-gun control advocates were quick to seize on this latest incident as proof that citizens should be denied their right to bear arms.

While the Supreme Court has affirmed the Second Amendment grants ordinary citizens the right to own firearms for their protection, it may also be that gun violence is responsible for more deaths than automobile accidents. That said, much of the gun violence is perpetrated by criminals who will obtain them regardless of gun restrictions.
