I Was Scratching My Head When I Found Out What Caused 23 Year Old To Suffer A Heart Attack

Wuhan City, China – In 2012, Zheng Gang, age 23, was working his way through medical school at Wuhan University when he joined a program to benefit society by donating sperm. Presumably, the benefit would be to promote his genes with a penchant for higher education. However, he died within a days of joining the program. Records show that he was quite active in making donations and was on his fifth donation during his first ten days into the program.

However, workers at the clinic became concerned when he failed to produce a donation during the usual time it took for him to do produce one. After time had elapsed, they forced open the door and found him unresponsive on the floor. He had been ogling girlie magazine at the time.

Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead. His family sued the sperm bank alleging they did not provide adequate medical attention during the donation, but a court declared that Gang was old enough to know the risks involved. His family had sought damage of £1 million.

In the end, the family was awarded a most sum of £27,000 of which £8,000 were to reimburse them for the final expenses. Gang was married and his surviving widow had her tuition reduced by £2,000. In addition, she will receive assistance in finding employment once she graduates.

It isn’t clear what brought about the heart attack. It is unlikely the women in the magazine were so attractive as to induce a heart attack, but no one will know as the family’s request for an autopsy was denied.
