When you’re a youngster, there aren’t many things that can be more upsetting than losing a beloved belonging. Little Annie Wieck knows that all too well. The 9 year-old was coming home from vacation with the rest of her family when she lost her adorable Princess Kitty, a white stuffed animal.
Triathlete Sonja is Annie’s mother. Since Sonja travels so frequently, she’s very familiar with the airport, where Princess Kitty somehow dropped out of their sights. Sonja wrote blog that expressed Annie’s unhappiness about losing Princess Kitty, noting that since she’s a busy traveling mother, Annie relies on the stuffed animal as a means of bonding with her while she’s not home. The stuffed feline, as a result, has traveled with Sonja to locations all around the globe. She’s also traveled with the Wiecks on many family getaways. Annie was understandably distraught when she couldn’t find Princess Kitty after a family trip to Washington, D.C.
As a concerned mom, Sonja responded to her daughter’s sadness swiftly, tweeting Denver International Airport. She told the airport to be mindful of the lost stuffed animal – the detailed Tweet indicated that Princess Kitty was last seen on the airport tram just before 8:00 in the morning.
Fortunately for all, in the greatest success of TSA history, the stuffed animal was swiftly located. They sent a tweet to Sonja saying that Princess Kitty was all set to go back home. They even included hilarious tweets with photographs that depicted Princess Kitty’s adorable adventures all over the airport terminals.
