Elizabeth Warren says that Democrats need to “turn into muscle and reactive memory.” Warren appeared on All In with Chris Hayes to talk about her new bill, the Equal Employment for All Act.
Her new bill would stop employers from using poor credit scores to discriminate against potential employers. She says there is an unfair advantage for people with better credit and this discrimination affects the middle class.
Warren spoke about her bill and her democrats as if she has her own wing of the party. Hayes mentioned this on the show, to which she responded “This isn’t about me. This is about the issues about what’s happening to America’s families.” She blamed “supply side economics” for the way American families are treated. Things like housing, healthcare, daycare, declining wages and college money are hard to come by for middle class families unless everyone in the household are working.
She says however, that it isn’t just the Democrats’ fault, the middle class has suffered under Republican rule as well.
