VIDEO: This Austrian Comedian’s Take On The Stupid Gun Laws In America Is PERFECT

Jim Jefferies, a well known comic in Australia, is vehemently against guns. This is completely understandable when you consider that he was attacked on stage at one time when he was performing at the Manchester Comedy Store.

In one of his shows from the year 2014, Jim Jefferies makes a very astute point when he comments on the reaction of the United States to mass shootings and compares it to reactions to similar events in Australia.

He says in a comical rant that is both ingenious and hilarious at the same time, “In Australia, we had the biggest massacre on earth. The Australian government went, ‘That’s it! No more guns!’ And we all went, ‘Yeah, alright then. That seems fair enough.’ Now in America, you have the Sandy Hook Massacre where little, tiny children died, and your government went, ‘Maybe – we’ll get rid of the BIG guns?'”

His point is hilariously stated, and it brings up a major difference between the United States and Australia as well. It also shows that he clearly does not agree with the way the United States has handled the situation with guns after the school shooting, as he is basically mocking it and saying that it makes no sense that they would do that. Whether you agree with him or not, you can’t help but appreciate the way that he states his point of view and incorporates humor into it. It makes perfect sense considering his own experience with guns as well.
