VIDEO: He Soaks Paper Towels In Pine-Sol. When I Saw Why? I Had To Try It. It Worked!

If you are one of the millions of people who use cleaning wipes every month, you know how expensive they can be. That’s why this video from YouTube’s KGB Survivalist is a godsend. In it, he shows you how to make your own DIY cleaning wipes using nothing more than a roll of heavy duty paper towels, a plastic container and some Pine-Sol cleaner.

All you need to do is to cut the roll of paper towels into three pieces with a bread knife. Choose a plastic container that each piece will fit into snugly when stood on its end, but that still has room left over to be able to put the lid on and snap it shut.

Using a box cutter, cut a small ‘x’ into the lid of each container big enough for a paper towel to be pulled through. Now slowly pour some Pine-Sol cleaner into the bottom of each container and watch as the paper towel begins to soak it up. Once the entire paper towel is soaked, add a little bit more Pine-Sol to the bottom of the container so, once the lid is closed, the paper towel will not go completely dry. Repeat this in the other two containers.

Leave for a few minutes and then reach into the middle of the paper towels and pull the first end free. This should then be easy to feed through the ‘x’ now cut into the lid of the container, allowing for easy access to your new DIY cleaning wipes.

Now you have three use-them-again cleaning wipes dispensers filled with three rolls of DIY cleaning wipes.

Remember, too, if you do not like Pine-Sol, or do not like to use harsh chemicals in your home, this works just as well with white vinegar and, actually, is quite a bit cheaper.
