If you don’t have candy canes, you can use small peppermint discs. Any kind of liquid can be used in the glasses, making them ideal for children who want to join in all of the holiday festivities. You can pour alcohol in them for an adult treat, or use the glasses for milk or hot cocoa to enjoy with cookies and other sweet treats. Make sure the temperature of the liquid is the same as the glass because the glass can break.
Arrange seven of the discs as tightly together as possible. Bake the candy in the oven until it starts to melt.
Remove the candy from the pan, making sure that the candy has melted together. Put the candy on a small shot glass to get the shape of the glass that you need. Within about 10 seconds, the candy will be hard and in the shape that you need.
