VIDEO: Hero Woman Saves Dog…She Breaks Down In Tears When The Dog Surprises Her With THIS

Most people don’t know that homelessness among animals outnumber people 5 to 1. An even worst statistic indicates that approximately 2.7 million dogs and cats are euthanized annually. Why is this happening? Because no one will adopt them.

Fortunately, for an adorable poodle named Layla, she escaped being a statistic. On what seemed like a normal day in Los Angeles, CA., a miracle occurred on an unsuspecting sidewalk. It all started when someone called Hope For Paws, to report a scared and injured dog, that was stranded and alone.

Fortunately, Annie, a Hope For Paws rescue worker, arrived in-time to find the trembling, poodle huddled against a wall. She was matted, and in obvious fear, and distress.

Annie, with a resonating spirit of kindness, slowly approached Layla to send a message, that she was there to help. The adorable poodle must have felt Annie’s benevolent spirit, and allowed her to approach and comfort her.

It was obvious that Layla trusted Annie. As Annie’s eyes were filled with tears, she picked up Layla, and held her, in her loving arms. Annie immediately transported Layla, to caring veterinary professionals.

Upon examining Layla, it was discovered that she was in critical condition, with severe intestinal damage. This was most likely caused by abuse.

After undergoing emergency surgery, the fighting spirit of Layla prevailed. She endured two weeks of agonizing rehab. During this time Layla was visited daily by her new foster parents. They demonstrated unconditional love, and support for Layla.

After Layla completely recovered from her ordeal, her beautiful spirit now shines through. You can sense from the joy Layla resonates, that she is happy, and grateful to be alive.

Layla is a beautiful dog, and one of the few lucky ones that made it. We should never forget, that many dogs and cats are alone in the world, suffering, and on the brink of death. Make an effort, in any way you can, to help animals like Layla have a chance of survival. This can be done with adoption, fostering, and donations.
