VIDEO: It Blew My Mind When I found Out What He Did With This Pot And Candles. BRILLIANT!

Having a backup plan for a heating source is a good idea for anybody, especially those in colder climates. Maybe you need heat in a place where there is no access to gas or electricity. Maybe your space heater broke.

Maybe you just want a cheaper way to keep warm. Well, here’s a simple solution that’s cheap, easy, and only requires a few household items. Take two thick, unglazed terracotta pots of different sizes (or three if they all small or thin), a long, thick bolt, four washers, and two nuts. Thread the bolt through the drainage opening of the biggest pot using a washers on each side and securing it with a nut on the inside.

Next, thread another washer onto the bolt, add the second pot (so that it’s nested inside the other) and secure it again with a washer and the other nut. That’s your heater! Make a base for your heater using something sturdy and fire-resistant, like bricks.

Place a plate in the center with some candles on it and cover the candles with the pots. In no time at all the heat from the candles will collect in the pots causing them to heat up and disperse heat in all directions. If you decide to use this method, be sure to take precautions as it can be a fire hazard. Also note that the heater will get extremely hot to the touch.

Even after the candles are extinguished, the pots will stay hot for up to an hour.
