Weddings are becoming more and more creative. We have all seen those videos of bridesmaids and groomsmen doing choreographed dances down the aisle during the wedding ceremony. There have been countless tear inducing mother-son reception dances as well. Not to be outdone, John wants to make sure his bride Irene feels special on their wedding day.
The video begins with the best man giving his speech. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a woman at the reception begins singing (beautifully I might add), about the flowers in the centerpieces on each of the tables. As other guests look at her with confusion, she abruptly stops and the best man awkwardly resumes his speech.
Suddenly, the same woman gets up and starts singing again, walking about the room and pointing out the flowers in the centerpieces. As soon as she stops singing, the father of the bride begins to sing, chiding her for interrupting the best man’s speech and suggesting that the centerpieces are not the most important part of the day and pays tribute instead to his tie.
As he concludes his musical ode to his wardrobe, the best man begins singing, reprimanding both of them for stealing his moment and interrupting his speech. Once he finishes singing the groom takes center stage and sings to his bride, telling her she is the “centerpiece” of his life. The song concludes with all 3 joining in song, and the bride wiping away tears of emotion.
