See How Restaurant Owner Shames Millionaire NFL Player For Leaving Despicible Tip

The owner of PYT restaurant in Philadelphia has been getting plenty of attention this week. On his business profile on Facebook, the restaurant posted a picture of a receipt showing how the Eagles NFL running back LeSean McCoy left a tip of only twenty cents for his bill of $61.56 last week.

Regardless of the restaurants intention when posting the picture, he has been getting a tremendous amount of backlash from people who feel that was not the way to handle the situation. All that negative feedback caused Tommy Up to post a letter to the Facebook page in defense of his actions. He explained how it was his decision for posting the picture of the receipt, not the actions of his employee.

Up said he was sorry, but not really sorry. While he was sorry for outing McCoy, he felt he did the right thing by defending his employee. Up was seated next to McCoy and his three friends, and overheard him making rude comments to the staff all evening. While the server was a little nervous about working with a celebrity, he took on the job although making a few minor mistakes.

Up was appreciative the celebrity chose his burger joint to eat, but that twenty cent tip had to be split between the waiter, the bartender, and the food runner. McCoy was reached for comment and claimed the service was bad, and he can not understand how a business would risk their reputation protecting an employee who provides poor service.
