Imagine if you will a family that had been blessed by three little boys. The grandparents on the mother’s side had been blessed with six grandsons over the years, but no girls were added to the happy family.
The mother of the three boys decided to have just one more baby. For the entire nine months, the woman had her entire family, aunts, uncles and grandparents believing that they were having another baby boy. They pranked the entire family for nine months.
Then came the day the new baby was born. Everyone expected to meet the new baby boy. One by one the family enters the hospital room, expecting another boy, and all are shocked and amazed that there new family member was a girl! Aunts and grandma were crying tears of joy and chastising the parents for keeping the secret for so long.
Grandpa did not quite catch on right away.
They had a bow in the baby’s hair, under the cap. With a little coaxing, grandpa removed the cap and still he only wondered why they had put a pink bow in the baby’s hair. Finally, they all had to tell him that he had been the victim of the nine month prank. It’s a girl! How happy they all were to finally have a new daughter, granddaughter and niece in the family.
