A North Carolina Republican made a bold move this past week, he decided he no longer wanted to be a Republican.
Jason Thigpen decided being a Democrat was the right thing because ““refuse[s] to be part of an extremist movement in the GOP that only appears to thrive on fear and hate mongering of anyone and everyone who doesn’t walk their line.”
This isn’t Thigpen’s first time speaking out against the GOP, earlier this year he attacked them and said ““[y]ou can paint a turd and sell it as art, but it’s still a turd.”
Thigpen is an Army veteran and he says he didn’t risk his life to defend this nation so the GOP can only help one income class of America.
Thigpen is currently fighting the tea-party in the 3rd district of NC. We can only hope he beats him!
