Betty White recently celebrated her 95th birthday. She had an interview with Katie Couric the same day as her interview. They discussed a wide variety of topics including beauty, politics and career.
Katie asked Betty how she felt about the state of the country. Katie also stated that the country seems to be more divided. Betty agreed that the country seems to be divided. However, she refused to bash Donald Trump and blame him for the country’s division.
Betty stated that now is the time to try to work together. She also stated that everyone should do their best, and everything will be alright. Additionally, she stated that the environment we currently live in is toxic. She concluded the interview by saying that if you are a negative person, then you have to change your attitude.
Katie tried to get Betty to talk about Trump. However, Betty did not want to say anything about him. She wanted to talk about the country in general. Betty has lived through 17 different presidents. She has seen a lot of change in this country. However, she chooses to focus on all of the positive things. She believes that the country will be alright.
