It can be difficult for families to have to deal with parental splits. They generally, however, do whatever is necessary for the sake of their family members. Separated parents usually try their best to make things as easy as possible on their children, even if they absolutely cannot bear being around one another.
Bryan Thouvenel is a father in Oregon who had a distressing experience when he broke up with his girlfriend. He and his girlfriend at the time shared a young daughter, a beautiful little girl by the name of Harmony Rain. Thouvenel’s ex grabbed Harmony Rain and traveled to another state with her post-split. That was when she removed the little girl from her father’s existence for close to three years. Thouvenel was 100 percent scarred by the traumatic and trying situation life had thrown his way. He had no idea what to do and desperately wanted to regain contact with the youngster who meant so much to him. The determined father, however, never surrendered. He worked hard to regain a relationship with his daughter and was fully committed to his goal.
Children and their parents have connections that are truly intense. Thouvenel, the father of two other kids from another relationship, had an intense desire to maintain regular contact with his beloved daughter. The connection between daughters and their fathers is nothing to dismiss. It’s definitely one of the most amazing connections you can witness. Thouvenel’s incredible adoration for adorable Harmony Rain was confirmation of this.
Thouvenel endured two plus years looking everywhere to find his little daughter. He recently called that time period “hell.” One day, however, he received a phone call that truly was monumental.
Thouvenel never anticipated this separation when he split from his ex-girlfriend. The idea of being away from his sweet daughter for years on end never even occurred to him. Couples separate every day and this type of thing is actually pretty rare. That’s why it’s easy to see why Thouvenel was so blindsided by what ended up happening to him. Thouvenel’s ex vanished and fled the state. She removed Thouvenel from her life completely. This made Thouvenel miserable. He realized that getting Harmony Rain back was something that was going to call for a lot of dedication and perseverance. He hung her little pacifier on his neck as a way of being “near” her at all times. Before he went to bed at night he’d sing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” too. He did this to stop crying. It was extremely tough for Thouvenel to have to be away from Harmony Rain for two lengthy years.
A pal of Thouvenel called the sad father to inform him that he spotted the little girl and her mom living in a homeless shelter close to the city of Spokane in Washington. Thouvenel got permission from the court and traveled to retrieve Harmony Rain. He was finally able to see his precious daughter yet again. It was a long time coming, too. They literally hadn’t seen each other in years.
Thouvenel had been given sole custody of his daughter. This occurred prior to seeing her again. That’s the reason the youngster was permitted to return home with her dad so quickly. The girl hadn’t laid eyes on her father since she was just two years in age. He noted, however, that when he told her who he was her entire expression changed in a positive way.
Harmony is currently five years in age. She’s having a blast with her father and siblings. It looks like the wonderful little girl has an amazing future with her family in front of her.
