Ann Coulter has been the bane of liberals with her exacto knife quips mixing humor with political satire. In the past, she’s said things like:
- Speaking of the shooting death of an abortion practitioner, she said: “I don’t really like to think of it as a murder. It was terminating Tiller in the 203rd trimester.”
- Speaking of the single women who instinctively vote for the Democrats, she said: “If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president.”
- Speaking of liberals’ lack of support for national defense, she said: “I’m more of a man than any liberal.”
- Speaking of liberals’ lack of love for America, she said: “Liberals love America like O.J. loved Nicole.”
In her most recent tweet, she sent a picture of herself attempting to mimic First Lady Michelle Obama as she held a sign reading “#Bring Back Our Country”. It was a thinly veiled poke at Mrs. Obama’s tweet asking the Nigerian Islamic terrorists to release the two hundred girls they continue to hold in captivity.
Obviously, anyone with common sense would know the terrorist aren’t likely to be swayed by Mrs. Obama’s hashtag activism. Liberals have been quick to photoshop Coulter’s message to contain derogatory images and statements.
In their minds, they think Coulter’s message has blown back on her. In reality, when critics come out to address the comment, it means they have viewed her tweet giving her what she sought: rankle liberals.
