During a march by some Veterans this past week, one decided to bring a symbol of hate with them.
As people were protesting in front of the White House, 1 man took out his confederate flag and was waving it towards the White House.
And how could GOPers who were rallying this march, allow this to happen?
While some people argue the confederate flag is not a negative symbol, it’s hard to not think otherwise. The flag for many it symbolizes injustice, racism and dehumanization.
This especially holds true for African-Americans. You can compare it to the swastika for jewish people.
And guess who resides in the White House, an African-American. Yet, this person decided to wave this negative symbol at them for what we can only think of as a hateful reason.
Is this more proof that the GOP and their supporters are still stuck in a time of racism and hate?
