Taking a deeper look, a study found that the average Walmart store requires $904,542.00 in taxpayer money (or $6,000.00 per employee) to support the underpaid workers of just ONE store.
Extrapolate that out across their 4,118 U.S stores and we’re footing a bill upwards of $3,724,903,956.00.
It’s time we start considering the bigger picture, and not just the benefits of saving a few dollars on your toilet paper every month!
