For this money saving magic trick we will need a few things that we already have at home, fabric softener and a sponge. Easy right? Simply dilute the fabric softener with water. You won’t need a lot of fabric softener so make sure you add more water than fabric softener to the mixture. Now, proceed to soak the sponge and squeeze to remove the excess liquid. Place the moisted sponge in the dryer and repeat on each load.
You can use a container with a lid to keep the sponge and liquid until the next time you have to do laundry. This will also keep the sponge moist. I only use about two small bottles of fabric softener per year compared to two boxes of dryer sheets per month.
Not only is this money saving but a much better alternative to keep your clothes smelling great and static-free and less waste. Have fun saving!
