VIDEO: When a Baby Deer Stumbled Onto Their Porch, They Were STUNNED What Happened Next!

It isn’t every day that a family can spot a baby deer on their back porch seemingly resting. What exactly brought the fawn on the back of porch away from the protective custody of its mother isn’t certain. Nor was it clear if the fawn was in good health.

Deer are very skittish creatures and often times do not allow humans to approach them at all. The slightest sudden movement will send them sailing through the woods. However, in this case, the fawn simply remained prostrate on the deck looking rather calm. The family cat Miro comes out to check it out. Miro walks up to it and begins to sniff it and gently tap its head and ears with its paw in a pouncing like manner, but gently and without extracting any claws.

The deer remains still and barely takes notice. Again, Miro repeatedly taps the fawns ears and head. Finally, Miro lays himself down on the deck floor assuming the same position as the fawn. When that no longer occupies his curiosity, Miro turns toward the fawn and rolls on its back as if to beckon it to play.

Miro then comes back to provoke a response from the fawn and with more gentle aggression begins to paw its face and hind leg. The fawn doesn’t flinch much less move. Miro then takes to pawing the fawn’s nose and mouth in rapid succession, but again to no avail. The video of the adorable encounter ends with Miro turning to the age old feline practice of grooming itself.
