It took The Tampa Bay Times and the Center for Investigative Reporting ten years to complete a study compiling a list of the ten worst charities in America, and what makes them worse.
These entities do not recommend donations to the following charities. These watch groups found that the majority of funds collected went to the charity collectors and the minority of funds to the actual charity.
The team put together for this ten-year study, reviewed just over 11,000 charitable organizations across the United States and finally had enough information to put together the following shocking figures. Charitable organizations are business entities.
Those who believe in these organizations and pay to help the organization help others in need are in actuality paying the collector of these donations.
