This video is adorable. The great thing about the teddy bear is that it’s not a new teddy bear. It’s your average teddy bear. It may have belonged to the expectant mother or father. It’s already in the house when the couple finds out the good news.
Excited, the teddy bear throws its hands in the air and slides to the top of the steps. This is probably the same thing a three through five-year old would do. Once the teddy bear gets downstairs, he sits, watches and waits. As time continues the teddy bear watches the expectant parents get ready for the new arrival to the house. When the crib and room are complete he is delighted. He is charged because we see him back on the steps doing the moonwalk and the robot dances. After he sees the ultrasound, we see him back on the steps doing another dance.
The absolutely adorable part of the video is when the teddy bear is at the window waiting for the baby to arrive home from the hospital. The expectancy at the window strikes so many people. We’ve all sat at the window waiting for a sibling, parent or a friend to arrive.
Finally when the gift arrives, the now calm teddy waits for the adoring parents to lay the baby down, then he gently lies beside the baby, welcoming him into the world and the family. This is a precious and delightful video, for everyone.
