VIDEO: This Footage Of Boy With Rare Disease Bonding With Horse Will Melt Your Heart

A compassionate horse approaches and bonds with a young boy with William’s Syndrome, a rare developmental condition. This syndrome is genetic in origin and involves missing chromosomes. His mother says that he is affectionate, but misses social cues and has trouble with human interconnection.

That’s why this gentle horse’s actions are so amazing, as he curiously investigates this little boy, and the boy reacts by caressing the horse.

The horse seems to treat the little boy like he would a foal, protecting the child by not moving as he hugs the horse’s leg. Even when the boy throws his arms in the air, the horse only moves his head out of the way, not shying and running off like some would.

The child moves toward the horse and puts his cheek up to the horse’s nose in an intimate moment as the equine takes in the aroma of the boy. Even when the boy wanders away, the horse follows.

The horse shows the unique adaptability and desire for human connection which has characterized the species in its relationship with man. The wonderful thing is that this horse is not one of a kind, and many examples of horses with this kind of personality exist.
