Many pet owners wish that their dogs could talk. Oh, the conversations they could have! However, many have found that there are ways of communicating with the dogs that they love, or at least creating the illusion that this is possible. One dog recently demonstrated an adorable ability to interact with a human asking a question.
The dog, whose name is Amelia, lives a very comfortable life, lounging on a bed with her head propped up on a pillow. Clearly this is a pampered pooch, and she doesn’t care who knows it. In the video, a woman’s voice can be heard asking the question of who is the best dog in the world. It may be a subjective question, but this Brittany Spaniel is sure that she has the answer.
There is no vocal communication involved on her part, but the response is clear as she stretches out her paw as far as it can go, looking just like a child raising her hand in school.
It’s an incredibly cute way of demonstrating that she is, indeed, a superior dog. Whether she actually understands the question, has been trained ahead of time on what to do or is simply enjoying a stretch that is coincidentally well-timed, this dog has an excellent way of showing the world just who she is.
