VIDEO: They Reunited A Horse With His Old Pal. But Keep Your Eyes On The Horse In Red…

The concept of horses and memory was explored in a video that was posted in February 2013 by a woman who had been bred a trio of horses that had been separated for a period of time.

The three horses, Arthur, William and Harry were brought together, with the reunion captured in a five-minute film by Bruce Selkirk for posterity. In reality, more than an hour of footage had been taken of the unique event.

Arthur had arrived in late 2006, approximately the same time that William came around. Roughly one year later, Harry arrived, but the trio was broken up in the Spring of 2008 when Arthur was sold.

However, near the end of 2012, the woman, known only as Sue, was able to repurchase Arthur, which allowed for the reunion to take place.

The video begins with the woman taking Arthur to Mustons Field in England, which is where the three horses had originally come together. Both William and Harry eventually come up to Arthur as they begin to reacquaint themselves with each other, with music now playing in the background.

Soon, they are running together, and exchanging licks and other signs of affection with each other. Sue notes that William is ordinarily a bossy horse, but in this instance, he allows Arthur to express his form of expression toward him.

Since the video was posted, it’s been viewed more than 3.1 million times, with many comments expressing the wonder of seeing horses express affection with each other.
