Ted Cruz was talking with Foxnews host Chris Wallace when Cruz said he didn’t want a shutdown over Obamacare.
The caused the audience to break out in laughter because it was such a blatant lie.
Cruz said ““That ignores who I think was responsible for the shutdown,” Cruz replied. “I didn’t want a shutdown. Throughout the whole thing, I said we shouldn’t have a shutdown.”
He said this in defense of Chris Wallace asking if him forcing the government shutdown had others in his party upset with his actions.
