Young Tatyana Kundik made her foray into the world of entertainment as a contestant on the reality TV competition “Ukraine’s Got Talent”.
Everyone has seen people walk the tight rope and perform acrobatics, but none quite like the way this young lady does. There’s a reason why she had the audience in sheer awe. Kundik begins her routine dressed like a dominatrix with a large rose tattoo visible on her right leg through the mesh of her leggings.
In the background is the music to Belgian-Australian singer Gotye’s 2006 song “Coming Back”. Kundik’s cabaret style movements were appealing enough, but when she starts conducting them on a tight rope the performance entered into the surreal.
She was able to use the tight rope to relocate her center of gravity off her body to balance herself on her forearms in a near 90% angle which would not be humanly possible on the ground. Kundik also was able to lay herself across the rope with the same ease with which she had earlier reclined across a chair. She swung her body about the rope as if it were a hammock with one caveat: she also swing her body 360 degrees about the rope.
If that wasn’t enough, she then performed a full split along the rope. At one point, she stood on the rope and pulled up her leg in a full standing split. Most people on a tight rope experience body quaking which is a result of their core strength being undeveloped. There was no such result in the nearly 6 minute display of her agility.
