VIDEO: Just When You Thought Fox news Couldn’t Get Any More Dumb, They Make This Statement. WOW

The difficulty in discussing racial matters with any degree of objectivity and foundational basis in education is that the issue vexes people into a purely emotional state. Many of the protesters or people outraged over what happened in New York City with Eric Garner and what they perceive happened with Michael Brown is that in the mind of a racially offended person, there is only one valid viewpoint: their own.

People overcome with racial anger taken any deviation from their viewpoint as being racist and insensitive. Such is the case with Fox host Judge Jeanine, who is clearly bothered with the inflammatory activities in Ferguson and New York City.

The minority communities, which clearly dominate police activity due to the high rate of crime in those neighborhoods, believe it is the police that need to be trained on how to deal with people living in those communities. Judge Jeanine believes the training should go the other way around. Local communities should be educated on how to engage the police and treat them with respect.

Many of the protesters in both cities complain about the racial makeup of police officers. However, African-American police officers complain that people in those communities view them as sell-outs, Uncle Toms, and traitors.

The mindset that a Black man working in law enforcement to uphold law & order is an aberration from the accepted norm if proof enough that minority communities are in dire need of a paradigm shift. While all the attention is focused on the officers, it will do nothing to reduce the level of crime in those communities that warrants so much attention from police.
