VIDEO: John Kerry Has Awesome One-Line Response to Dick Cheney’s Criticism

Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz wrote a scathing article in the Wall Street Journal, on June 17, 2014, about President Obama criticizing Obama’s action, or inaction in Iraq. The former Vice President claimed “Despite clear evidence of the dire need for American Leadership around the world, the desperation of our allies and the glee of our enemies, President Obama seems determined to leave office ensuring he has taken America down a notch.”

The Cheneys claim that Al Qaeda is expanding territory in Iraq, say people are asking why the President is ‘doing deals with America’s enemies,’ and is walking away from security threats ‘posing a clear and present danger to America.’

After listing their concerns they observe President Obama makes time for “golfing,” a current Republican talking point, as though no President could benefit from a break to relax a stressed mind, allowing for creative solutions.

On Thursday, June 19th, Savannah Guthrie interviewed John Kerry, the Secretary of State, on the Today Show. Guthrie brought up Cheney’s article and quoted: “Rarely has a U.S. President been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.”
