VIDEO: I Thought She Was An Idiot For Pouring OJ Into Boiling Water, Then I Saw Why, YUM!

To make these adorable and healthy treats, that could be used as a great party snack or as a treat for the kids, all you will need is six navel oranges, a citrus juicer, and a packet of unflavored gelatin powder.

The first step in making these yummy treats is to slice all of the oranges in half. Next, juice the oranges until you have nearly two cups. Pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove the pulp.

In a medium saucepan combine a 1/4 cup of the orange juice and the entire packet of gelatin. Allow the mixture about five minutes so that the gelatin can dissolve.

While the gelatin is dissolving use a spoon to scoop out any remaining flesh from the orange halves.
Once the gelatin is mostly dissolved, pour the rest of the juice into the sauce pan and put it on medium heat and stir for three to five minutes until all of the gelatin is fully dissolved.

Fill the empty orange halves with the juice mixture. The halves can be place into a large muffin tin so they don’t spill any juice. Refrigerate the halves overnight, or at least for four hours, and in the morning slice the solidified gelatin and orange peels into wedges and enjoy your healthy and tasty snack.
