In this somewhat grainy video, a person slightly lifts up a wooden box from one side sufficient to stick what appears to be a small bread ball underneath the box.
After a brief pause, a small but gentle furry arm reaches out and gently takes the bread ball from the person’s finger tips. Later, the same creature is seen gently holding a spoon as it hunkers down in the bottom of a cage. It lifts its head as the same person offers it another tiny bread ball. Its huge eyes look woefully melancholy such as to evoke sympathy.
Once again, the creature gently takes the bread ball into its hands and slowly takes a bite and begins chewing on it. Everything about the animal is gentle. As it continues to chew the morsel in its mouth, it looks upon its master innocently. Believe it or not, the process of eating a single tiny bread ball takes well over one minute for the primate.
At one point, the owner sticks out their index finger with a small amount of bread on it and the creature gently licks the bread off his/her finger tip.
In fact, during the course of 90 seconds, the Lemur never quite gets around to finishing the bread ball. Lemurs are known for their gentleness and nocturnal behavior which may account for why this particular one was spending time inside a dark box.
Regardless, it is one absolutely loveable creature and has the tenderest little fingers on its hands. See if you agree.
