Belgian commercial producers have a reputation for creating some incredibly creative TV commercials. So it is not surprising one of the latest videos out of Belgium has gone viral on the internet.
The commercial shows a single dad waiting outside the delivery room of a hospital for news about the children being born inside. He is so nervous, his nervousness is communicated to his dog, who jumps up with excitement as the door of the delivery room swings open and two nurses walk out.
It is then when we realize, it is not the man who is waiting for news of his babies, but the dog, as the nurses arrive smiling and cuddling five of the cutest puppies you have ever seen. The father, of course, falls immediately in love.
Back at home, though, it is not all cuteness and light for a single dad with so many children. Five puppies get everywhere, and they are difficult to control. Climbing on refrigerator shelves, and treading dirty paw prints into the nice clean carpet, these adorable puppies have to be bathed, fed and, of course, put to bed with their bone nightlights lit up over their heads every night.
Dad, however, does everything with great patience and love. The adorable commercial is for a Belgian electricity company, and communicates the message that having kids can be expensive if you are not careful in controlling your electricity consumption. Not that this single dad cares about that. He is too busy enjoying having all his children playing around him.
