VIDEO: He Had ALS, But Nothing Would Stop Him From Walking His Daughter Down The Isle. WOW!

Augie Nieto who is a successful business man was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis also known as ALS. Most people with ALS do not live very long after their diagnosis. After the reality set in of his disease, he turned his depression into a wonderful outlook on life.

When he was diagnosed, his daughter Lindsay was 15 years old. Because of a shortened life span that most people with ALS have, she thought of so many things that her father would not be able to be a part of. Most young ladies have a dream of getting married and being walked down the aisle with their father.

Since her father’s diagnosis, his ability to do things like walking, losing his ability to speak, and the use of both arms.

With the use of a specially made wheel chair, he was able to but maneuver around but with limited abilities.

When his daughter Lindsay became engaged to get married, Augie had the faith and wheel power to be able to walk his daughter down the aisle. On this special day, Augie’s chair was put in a position that he would be able to look straight head as he and his daughter went down the aisle.

That was a wonderful moment for not only he and his family but everyone who attended the wedding ceremony had tears in theirs eyes. This was a wonderful and memorable event for his family and friends.
