Elisabeth Hasselbeck Becomes Sour Faced Over This Basic Comment On Pot

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a staunch conservative who held her own on the set of “The View” for years often against Left wing bias and tirades. The woman and former contestant on the hit show “Survivor” has an indomitable spirit that isn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with an opponent in the arena of ideas. However, she may have met her match when she was interviewing former NFL star Shawn Stuckey about the league’s recent relaxing of marijuana use.

Now, the NFL is not openly embracing marijuana use a la Colorado, but the league has made the decision to adopt the same standard as the World Anti-Doping Agency which allows for a larger use of marijuana in athletes.

Hasselbeck questioned the merit of the decision given that marijuana is considered a gateway drug. Stuckey countered that ultimately the NFL is a capitalistic entity that seeks profits by giving its customers what they desire.

He added that if fans demand more violence, they’ll eventually get it from the NFL. Likewise, he added that public opinion has changed in regards to marijuana use and that the NFL is merely reflecting that. Stuckey added that his own family is intimately familiar with the slippery slope of drug use given that all but one of his aunts and uncles is a crack addict. Regardless, he added that teens won’t use marijuana any more just because the NFL allows their players to do so. By contrast, he said that if the NFL adopted an alcohol prohibition, teens would not curtail their use of spirits. This remark had Hasselbeck pouting in dismay.
