VIDEO: Buddy the dog teaches seven-month-old baby girl how to crawl. AMAZING!

As everyone knows, dogs are certainly a man’s best friend. However, it has become apparent that they are a baby’s best friend as well. Recently, a video on the web showed us just how our pets can truly be a member of our family.

A video was posted on YouTube of an adorable Jack Russell Terrier named Buddy taught Valerie Stevens-Scott’s seven-month-old daughter, Allie, how to crawl.

In the video, you can see Allie is having a hard go at learning how to crawl. She flails and tries, but can’t seem to learn the basics. That’s where Buddy comes to the rescue. Seeing the infant struggle, Buddy decides to take the situation into his own paws. He shows Allie that it is all about putting one foot (or hand in this case) in front of the other when he drops to the ground and drags his belly in a crawl across the floor. Allie watches in amazement as her Buddy shows her how it is done. As the Jack Russell moves by her with ease, Allie can only watch in amazement.

The sweet story also has a sweet backstory to go with it. Buddy was a rescue dog when the family adopted him.

Not only is he giving back, but he’s giving rescue dogs everywhere a good name. Sometimes the best teachers turn up where you least expect them. Since it was posted, the video has been viewed over one million times proving that dogs and babies are always a too-cute combination.
