VIDEO: After Seeing What He Was Doing With This Coke Made Me Vow To Never Drink It Again

This article features a one step video demonstrating the experiment to determine how much sugar is in a bottle of coca cola. The experiment consists of a skillet, a burner, a bottle of coke, and a bottle of coke zero.

When determining the sugar content in each bottle it requires one simple step. All you have to do is pour the contents of the bottle into the skillet and heat to a boil. The boil will then burn out the water content in the soda. The remaining content in the skillet is the sugar from the soda. Once you’ve completed the process with the regular coke move onto to the coke zero and repeat.

The difference between the two will be drastic. After the water has been removed from the coke zero hardly anything will remain in the skillet. Whereas the coke after the water has been removed still harbors most of the contents within the skillet.

The result of this experiment proves that a regular bottle of coke is mostly liquid sugar while coke zero is the better option to choose for those who need to watch their sugar because it has very little sugar included. The experiment is very easy to complete and will help to clarify what sodas are the healthier option.
