They Put Up Cameras In A Forest. When It Turns To Night They Capture Something Magical!

Any fan of art knows that art comes in all sorts of forms. It is not only about painting and drawing nice pictures, but it can also be about an artist’s unique take on something that people have seen thousands of times before.

Tarek Mawad and Friedrich van Schoor are two artists who were in the forest for six weeks observing their surroundings. They came up with an idea for a project that would capture the beauty of everything that they were seeing, with a twist that they wanted to add to enhance the natural beauty of it all.

They have long been interested in bioluminescence, which many people have seen in photography done of deep sea phenomena. They decided to use their talents and perspectives to create a “bioluminescent forest.” They came up with extremely amazing projections, and they were able to accentuate everything that the forest already presents by adding the shine and sparkle of bioluminescence, which most of us have only seen on creatures underwater.

Perhaps the most impressive part of their project is that they were able to use all sorts of surfaces that they found in the forest to incorporate the bioluminescence. They worked with both the creatures of the forest, as well as the nonmoving life, such as trees and other plants.

Basically, they have created an entire wonderland by using all of these surfaces and incorporating their ideas into various parts of the forest. What they have made truly looks like a fantasy.
