These 46 Optical Illusions Made Me Question My Eyes And Brain. Number 13 Is My Favorite…

Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian artist who creates all sorts of surreal paintings that incorporate optical illusions. The way that he presents objects in his paintings is truly impressive, and it shows a very unique view of the world and of objects themselves. He creates paintings that can be looked at in many different ways. There are objects that basically turn into other objects in other areas of the painting, as well as objects that can be viewed in multiple ways.

For example, in one of his paintings, there are people walking on what appears in one area of the painting to be a simple brick road. However, as the brick road goes on, the bricks start to separate, and it is revealed that the bricks are actually houses and buildings, and they actually appear to be walking on top of a small town.

In another one of his paintings, there is a series of what can at first look like ships on the water. However, when you look at it more closely, you will also see the pattern of a bridge. When you really look at the ships, you will see that only the first one really looks like a ship, and the ones behind it actually start to look more and more like clouds.

This artist is truly a master of playing with optical illusions in order to create his art. This is one case where art is not only pretty pictures but clever visual tricks as well.
