Texas Tea Party Senator Ted Cruz, got an unexpected reaction to a question he posted on Facebook last week. He posted this:
“Quick poll: Obamacare was signed into law four years ago yesterday. Are you better off now than you were then? Comment with YES or NO!”
Almost 40,000 people responded and the resounding answer is YES. Here are some of the comments:
“Yes. $600 a month $8000 deductible to $250 a month $500 deductible. Thank you Obame ACA.”
“Yes-my husband signed up and is saving $200 a month with better coverage..thank you President Obama!”
“Yes! Everyone in my family has a pre-existing condition that range from minor to serious. We were uninsurable on the individual market. Now we’ve got great coverage through healthcare.gov. We did NOT get a subsidy but it still fits our budget!”
So take that, Cruz. I guess he was probably expecting most Americans to say they hate having health coverage.
