A woman in Russia decided to take matters into her own hands to combat littering. She drove around the city on a motorbike, looking for people throwing trash out of their car windows.
The first person who threw something out of their car, the woman punished by picking up another piece of trash off the ground and throwing it through the open car window.
When a man threw a plastic bottle out his window, the woman picked it up, caught up to his car, and when the car was stopped at a light, she taped it to his side mirror. The woman’s third victim was at a MacDonald’s restaurant parking lot.
The litterer threw their leftover bag of food out the window instead of getting out of the car to dump it in a nearby trashcan. The litter-fighter picked it up, drove her bike over to the car, asked the driver to lower the window and threw the trash inside, soda spilling over the car seats.
As she drove around town, fighting litter, the woman kept a camera attached to her helmet, and uploaded a video of her actions to Youtube, so people can decide for themselves whether she went too far or if the punishment fit the crime.
