You only need a few colored balloons about six inches in size. Inflate the balloons and coat them balloons with vegetable oil – you only need a thin coat of oil on the outside of the balloons. Mix gelatin separately in a bowl with cold water and coat the balloons with the gelatin mixture. Let them dry for about 10 minutes.

You will need to add another coat of gelatin before using the balloons for decoration. Let the balloons dry for about 24 hours before you pop the balloon and carefully remove the colorful bubble to place on top of your party cupcakes.
