See The Amazing Thing 200 People Did When Dying Cancer Patient Was Being Evicted From Their Home

A good deed can go a long way. Many people across the globe suffer from cancer. A cancer diagnosis can not only be emotionally and physically painful but financially as well. Many people cannot work while they undergo cancer treatments. This can lead them to fall behind on their financial obligations. One such man named Tom Crawford was told by his mortgage lender that he owed more than 43,000 pounds on his home even though he had been told that he had paid it off.

Crawford could not meet the additional mortgage payments on his beloved home that he shares with his wife. He got an idea to make a video and post it on Youtube. In his video he stated that he had resided in his Carlton home for over two decades and that he had thought that he had no issues with the mortgage.

His mortgage lender had been taken over by another company and he was informed that he would have to pay the obligation or be evicted. The man asked people to come to his home and have a protest to try to end the eviction process.

The turnout was excellent as 200 people showed up to try to keep him in his home that he loves so much. UK Asset Resolution Limited was still pursuing the matter and has since said that they will delay the eviction process. This story shows that social media can help people that need an injustice corrected.
