Rush Limbaugh’s Latest Claim About The Pope Might Make You Very Angry

Rush Limbaugh, in the Friday, May 9th 2014, broadcast of his conservative radio show, The Rush Limbaugh Show, said that Pope Francis is demanding that the UN somehow influence United Nations member nations to redistribute wealth. Limbaugh claims this is Marxism, and socialism.

This came after Pope Francis addressed Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and other U.N. dignitaries, in Rome, on Friday, when he called for governments, to redistribute wealth to the poor, as charity, to help curb the increasing distance between rich and poor in today’s economy, which is turning into an “economy of exclusion.”

Limbaugh says that governmental redistribution of wealth is socialism, and Marxism, not charity. He implies that charity is the business of churches, not governments, and that if the Pope wants wealth redistributed, the Catholic Church, which Pope Frances heads, should be the entity redistributing wealth, not the governments of nations. Limbaugh says that the Pope is trying to influence the United Nations to force Socialism and Marxism, on member nations.

This is not the first time Limbaugh has said the Pope was Marxist. When Pope Francis published his Evangelii Gaudium,(Joy of the Gospel) in 2013, Russ Limbaugh said that the document was “pure Marxism” that someone had either written it for the Pope, or that someone had influenced him.
